WHY WE DO PERFORMANCE EVALUATIONS:

–          In order to identify areas for growth and improvement

–          To provide an opportunity for managers and employees to create action plans/ goals for success

–          So we can measure performance and track progress

–          In order to acknowledge contributions/ recognize achievements

–          So employees have an opportunity to give their managers feedback

–          So mangers are able to give feedback on performance in a formal way

–          So we can have a written record of performance
